The”Kojima Battalion” was an Earth Federation Ground Forces unit active during the One Year War. With the battalion’s primary AOR encompassing Southeast Asia, the majority of their combat actions took place in dense jungles.
Primarily using the Rx-79[G] “Ground Gundams,” the men and women of the Kojima Battalion fought not only the Zeon invaders, but the harsh conditions of the battlefield that took a toll on their MS units. In the closing months of the One Year War, elements of the battalion - to include the notorious 08th Mobile Suit Team - were instrumental in dismantling a Zeon mobile armor project.
